See below for more information, including how to enroll in our program using Step Up funding.

Winter, spring and summer Break Classes for kids

Tennis Galaxy currently doesn’t offer camps, but our team would look into it if enough students are interested. Please let us know using our contact form if you’d be interested in half-day or short tennis camps.

Scholarships

Sports like tennis bring immeasurable value to children’s lives. A family’s financial situation should not prevent them from capturing that benefit for their child. Thus, the Tennis Galaxy community of players and supporters has collected funds to provide scholarships for children 7 to 11 years old who would like to learn to play tennis. A limited number of scholarships are available on a rotating basis throughout the year. Learn more or submit an application here.

And if you are able, please consider supporting the scholarship program by making a financial contribution by contacting us here.

If you currently receiving funding through the Step Up for Students program, please see our section below about homeschool options.

Step Up for Students + Tennis Galaxy: A Winning Match for Homeschool Families in Central Florida

We’re excited to share that Tennis Galaxy is now an approved provider for Step Up for Students scholarships. That means homeschool families can use their existing scholarship funds on a direct-pay basis for our tennis classes in Apopka to help their students meet Physical Education requirements.

How It Works

  1. Enroll in Our Program
If you already are a Step Up for Students scholarship recipient, be sure you also have a free Tennis Galaxy membership. You can sign up with us or log in here. (To learn more about Step Up for Students and their scholarship program, visit them here.)

  2. Start with an Assessment Lesson
New to Tennis Galaxy? We’ll begin with a 30-minute assessment lesson to determine the best class placement for your child. This assessment is covered by your Step Up scholarship funds. Book a private lesson here. Siblings or duos can be assessed at the same time. While you’ll need to input a payment method to book the lesson, don’t pay upfront; you’ll use Step Up funds to cover it (See Step 4.)

  3. Enroll in the Right Class

After the assessment, your coach will recommend a class. Use the filters on the left side of the registration page to find it. Go ahead and book your student into the class, but don’t complete payment—Step Up funds will cover it.

  4. Reserve Your Scholarship Funds within EMA for Tennis Galaxy
Log in to your Education Market Assistant (EMA) account, find Tennis Galaxy, and place an order for both the assessment lesson and the class. Important: Funds must be reserved by the week of the first class. If not, Tennis Galaxy will charge your payment method directly for tuition, along with a $4/month processing fee.

  5. Enjoy your student learning tennis!

We are very happy to help homeschool families enjoy our tennis program without the burden of upfront registration fees. With direct-pay status, scholarship funds are sent directly to Tennis Galaxy—so families can focus on the learning and the fun, not the paperwork.

For Families Not Using Step Up for Students

For families not receiving Step Up funds who wouldn’t otherwise be able to enroll their kids in group tennis classes, Tennis Galaxy also raises money regularly to provide partial and full scholarships. You can learn more about these opportunities at galaxytennis.com/scholarships.

Scholarships

Sports like tennis bring immeasurable value to life.

A family’s financial situation should not prevent them from capturing the benefits that tennis offers. Thus, the Tennis Galaxy team and our community of players and supporters contribute to a fund that provides partial and full scholarships for participation in our classes and lessons.

At the youth beginner level, each scholarship provides a player with six weekly beginner tennis classes, a new tennis racket, and a water bottle, bag, and hat. At other levels, the scholarships vary and are distributed based largely on need.

If you or your family member need financial assistance to join—or continue in—as Tennis Galaxy program, please submit the information requested below. Recipients will be notified of their scholarships at least one week before classes begin.

A limited number of scholarships are available on a rotating basis throughout the year. Apply by completing the form to the right.
